I read your review and I think we pretty much had the same feelings about it. I didn't mind the heavy parts though, I'm glad a rom com finally looked at life after the boy and girl find one another. I appreciate the film most for doing that.VANDY PRICEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17687676999871014345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6954589041690028844.post-52661976307279242322012-05-02T00:14:49.935-07:002012-05-02T00:14:49.935-07:00This part of your review (that I attached below) i...This part of your review (that I attached below) is perfect. You really got into the psyche of that character. By the way, my review of the film is up on The Word, if you're interested. <br><br>"Then there is the hilarious Chris Parnell. Parnell was never one of my favorite Saturday Night Live cast members and his movie roles have always been more of sparse cameos than anything else, but here he is the relentless stay at home dad that takes up knitting because he gets so bored watching his kids nap. He is present to serve as the embodiment of what Tom doesn't want to become. he has let all of his aspirations go by the wayside in order for his wife to accomplish her career goals. Parnell balances his ridiculous dialogue with the tragic undertones they imply quite nicely and nearly steals every scene he is in. It is this kind of random humor and consistent hilarity that make these raunchy but sweet comedies work."Julian Spiveyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10778711348226842201noreply@blogger.com
