Greta follows a young woman who befriends a lonely widow who's harboring a dark and deadly agenda toward her. And while I don’t want asparagus juice shot up my ass either (a character suggests such therapy in the film), but after one of the best butt-clenching shots in recent memory...I might need it. C

Having never seen a Gaspar Noé film before, I don't know that Climax will necessary be the best way to start, but given it was distributed by A24 and will therefore likely be on Amazon Prime soon it will in all likelihood be my first experience with the filmmaker. Climax takes place in the mid-90's where twenty French urban dancers join together for a three-day rehearsal in a closed-down boarding school to share one last dance. While some feel in paradise, most of them plunge into hell.

Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, Sky Ferreira, and Jack Kilmer and Valter Skarsgård star in Lords of Chaos, a true story set in 1987 about seventeen-year-old Euronymous who is determined to escape his traditional upbringing and becomes fixated on creating 'true Norwegian black metal' with his band Mayhem. He mounts shocking publicity stunts to put the band's name on the map, but the lines between show and reality start to blur. Arson, violence and a vicious murder shock the nation.
